Gratitude involves recognizing the good things that exist or that you already have in your life. People can show gratitude for people, places, physical possessions, and intangible things such as freedom, love, and friendship.  Grateful people don’t tend to take things for granted. They take note of the good things in life and show thanks for the people and things that make them feel more comfortable, happy, and inspired. Those who are grateful concentrate on what they have rather than what they wish to acquire and remember that the glass is always half full if they just choose to look at it that way.

ADULT BBC:  May 31st  1:00 - Whenever
SURVIVAL SKILLS DAY!!!  We will meet at the ranch to practice land Navigation, gather fire starting material, build shelters and cookout.  This will be an all afternoon event.  So plan accordingly.  Don’t miss this chance to practice all these skills together.

It’s often difficult to know when to let go and allow your child to work independently. There is no set age when we can say “now you can let go.” Every child develops at his own pace. Letting your child take on new responsibilities or try challenging tasks on his own is a matter of gauging his individual abilities and personality. It also takes a little bit of trial, error, hope and faith.
